• • • Health and Medical Missionary Work • • •Pr. Daniel Mckibben has a special interest in the healing ministry of Jesus. Daniel worked for 10 yrs at Eden Valley Lifestyle Center (health retreat) in Colorado, USA as Director, Lecturer, Natural remedies teacher and Therapist specializing in natural remedies, herbalist and is a certified massage therapist. In 2001 he and his wife Nerida moved to NZ to work in natural remedies. Since 1990 Daniel's traveled in several parts of the world giving health seminars to audiences small and large. His seminars can be viewed on 3 ABN cable television network and listened to on 3 ABN radio http://www.3abn.org/. Being some of the most popular programs on 3 ABN Daniel's programs were and are rerun several times per year. Daniel's humorous yet sensible approach of presenting cutting edge health information captivates audiences of all types. • My vision for Royal Oak Church in Medical Missionary Work by Pr. DanielIn the 90's I did the odd medical seminar with Amazing Facts evangelist Lowell Hargreaves in the Ukraine and saw the power and potential of combining the healing work with direct evangelism. Then in 2001 after my wife and I completed an evangelism course at Amazing Facts we were hired by Decatur SDA church, Decatur Arkansas to do Bible work and evangelism. We immediately turned one of the Sabbath School rooms into a treatment room and began seeing patients. After one of our patients was miraculously healed of terminal cancer many of the church members got excited and rallied around the medical missionary outreach. By the end of the year the church had grown considerably even though it was in a small rural setting. Currently we are using a small corner of our children's Sabbath School room at Royal Oak SDA church to give treatments, however I am looking for someone to help me with this work as being a full time pastor does not leave me much time for medical work. So if you are interested in medical missionary work in the complimentary (natural remedies) field, are a hard worker motivated by love for God and are a committed SDA Christian then please contact me. My wife (a medical Dr.) and myself are willing and able to train people in this field for the purpose of evangelism.
